Ship Your Engine

Six4 Motorsports accepts complete ATV and Dirt Bike engines shipped in for rebuilding, inspection, and performance work.

Before You Ship

Please contact us before sending your engine so we can confirm the job, your machine information, and the work you want completed.

Include:

  • Year, make, and model

  • Engine type

  • Your name and contact information

  • A brief description of the problem or requested work

  • Any known engine history

  • Any performance goals or special requests

Preparing Your Engine

Before packing:

  • Drain all engine oil and coolant

  • Remove loose external parts that are not needed for the repair

  • Cap or protect open ports where possible

  • Clean excessive dirt, mud, and oil from the outside of the engine

  • Protect vulnerable shafts, fittings, and covers

Packing

Use a strong container with enough protection to prevent the engine from moving during shipping. We highly recommend an igloo cooler!

Engines are heavy and can damage ordinary cardboard boxes. A heavy-duty shipping container, reinforced box, or suitable hard-sided container is strongly recommended.

Secure the engine so it cannot shift inside the package.

Include Your Information

Place a note inside the package with:

  • Full name

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Return shipping address

  • Year / make / model

  • Requested work

What Happens Next

Once your engine arrives, Six4 Motorsports will inspect it and contact you regarding the condition of the engine, recommended work, parts required, and estimated cost before major work proceeds.
